Kohler x Daniel Arsham

Reimagining the sink, together.

Too complex to realize by traditional methods, Kohler leveraged new, internally developed capabilities with 3D-printed ceramics to construct the asymmetrical sink body.

The coordinating brass piece requires a similarly lengthy production process, each piece hand-cast and then sent through a lengthy chamber vapor patina process to arrive
at its intended coloring.

The final process involves a continuous 7.5 hours of print time, expertly tracing the designed pattern as the coil layers build upward into the sinkā€™s unique form.

Rock.01 pairs perfectly with the ComponentsĀ® faucet in Matte Black.

The Stone Flow installation reflects Arshamā€™s goal of integrating the real and imagined.

The Rock.01 sink replicates the soft, flowing lines created by natural processes.
